Henry had his first soccer game last night in the pouring rain (although the official never showed up).  They won 6-4 and Henry had a goal.  He’s not the best kid out there but he plays every sport and you can tell the kids who are already specializing in soccer.  But, he’s good and it’s all natural talent, he’s never been to a soccer camp.  This whole specializing thing at this age bugs me but more on that later.

Henry’s spelling words this week: collect, connect, subtract, extinction, prediction.  He told me that he gets different words than the other kids.  I know their most recent words were know, called, its.
