Here is what I did on today's vacation day (I'm running short for the year). The top photo is the before shot showing the hole that we've had in front of the lakehouse since we bought it. It's usually full of 4-5 foot weeds but currently isn't too bad. On the right you see the dump truck full of shale that was dropped off yesterday. The goal was to connect a drainage pipe in the bottom left of the pic to the area of the other culverts and install a new culvert under our driveway to replace the one that ended where the stick next to the shale pile is.

Here is the new pipe connected to the drainage from the back yard.


The old pipe is being dug out here.

As you can see, it's in pretty rough shape.




Here is the end that used to drain into the hole. No wonder it didn't drain.





Here is the after photo. The shale pile is gone and the pipes are as close to the one that runs under the road as I could get them.
