Henry practicing soccer in the backyard. 
In the interest of keeping this at least a little bit of a food blog, here was tonight's meal. Gumbo. It was okay, not great, but the roux was excellent. Not enough chicken and the shrimp were poor. It might taste better tomorrow. 
Jack looking grumpy this morning when he got up. 
Jack "Frankenstein" Briggs. Glue, stitches and now staples, he's had it all.
