Life

Here are some photos from today’s work.  I have to say, it was kinda a wasted trip.  We didn’t have enough red oak plywood nor a jigsaw to cut out some of the stuff we needed. I’m hopeful for a full day next Sunday where we can finish most of it up. 

Last minute decision to go to the lake and work on the bar.  Photos coming soon. 

The boys and I went to the PTA bingo night last night.  I have a dinner/fundraiser tonight for the Columbus Blue Jackets foundation.  And work is very busy.  I would rather be busy than not but this is getting ridiculous.  Nothing going on this weekend except for maybe going to the lake to work on the bar.

Great time in Indy, stayed with the Horners on Saturday night and the Hilton on Sunday night.  Good to be back.  Tomorrow we are headed to Mansfield with the Metcalfs to ski.  Well, I’m going up with the boys, Sarah is working. 

Headed over to Indy for a couple days. 

We all went to the Blue Jackets game last night and had a great time.  Henry is really in to it and I think Jack just likes the action.  We sat in the 10^th row which were great seats. 

Busy day at work today, almost forgot to breathe.  It doesn’t get much better tomorrow but I may work at home on Thursday.  I hear the unions and the Tea Party are both going to be marching on the Statehouse grounds and that might get dangerous. 

I’m back from Florida.  It was a great trip but its always nice to be back.  I’ll post a few pictures tomorrow. 

Here’s hoping Henry gets lots of Valentine cards in his sweet box this year. 

Headed to Florida on Thursday for work.  Well, work starts on Saturday but I’m going to Key West on Friday for the day.  Have I mentioned that I am sick and tired of the cold snowy weather? 

Framed the bar out today.  Got more work done then I thought we would, next up is putting the plywood on the front, top, etc.  This thing might be done before we leave for spring break.

Jack is about an inch shorter than Henry was at that age.  Doctor told us yesterday that he would be around 5’9” – 5’10”, no surprises there although he thought he should be a little taller.  Jack didn’t do so well with the shots yesterday either; he’s limping around a bit today.  We got him a DSi though, maybe that made up for it. 

It’s only going to be 36 on Sunday but I’m going down to start the bar.  I’m excited, Mike’s going to help me.  I’m not sure I can do it myself. 

I’ve said it before, this global warming is going to be the end of us.  Got a kick from the clips today about a lot of Senators talking about how global warming is causing the U.S. to not have any snowfall.  Of course, they were from 2002.  Seems as if all that talk about no snow might have been a bit premature.
